Kathryn Dermenjyan

Kathryn graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Media Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in 2021 as a student in the SCALE Two-Year Accelerated JD Program.

During law school, Kathryn gained civil litigation experience in landlord-tenant, employment, and personal injury matters as an extern at two Los Angeles area firms. She also externed at the Los Angeles D.A.’s Office and served her community in the San Fernando Valley through her work with Southwestern’s Community Lawyering Clinic and Teen Court.

Kathryn graduated in the top 30% of her class and was then selected to be one of only fifteen law school graduates in Los Angeles to participate in the prestigious Victor E. Chavez ABOTA Fellowship. Kathryn was hosted as an ABOTA Fellow at Law + Brandmeyer and returned upon passing the California bar exam as an associate of the firm. Kathryn is licensed to practice in California.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys camping, off-roading, swimming, playing volleyball, cooking, and playing with her dog and cat.
