Tony Hsu is an associate with Law + Brandmeyer who works on medical malpractice and general liability defense. He attended University of California at Santa Barbara where he was pre-med, graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Sports Management. While in college, Tony was a member of the UCSB men’s tennis team. Tony earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2003 from Southwestern University School of Law. In law school, Tony received the CALI award for excellence for a course in Informal Systems of Order.
Immediately after law school, Tony joined a firm specializing in asbestos and toxic tort defense litigation, following which he focused on medical malpractice litigation where he defended physicians, nurses and hospitals. Tony is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
In his free time, he still enjoys playing tennis regularly, mentoring young promising junior tennis players, following the real estate market, and spending time in nature with his family.
